The National Founder's Day Celebrations
On 22nd February, every year, Scouts worldwide gather in their respective countries to renew their promise and also to commemorate the Birthday of Lord Baden Powell – the Founder of the Scouts Movement.
In Uganda this year, the National Founder’s Day celebrations will be held on Wednesday 22nd February 2012 at Makerere University.
The theme for the day is: “Scouting For Community Involvement and Responsible Citizenship ”.
World AIDS Day 2011
The theme for this year’s World AIDS Day is “Getting to Zero - Zero New HIV Infections. Zero Discrimination and Zero AIDS Related Deaths”.
The theme for this year’s World AIDS Day focuses on preventing HIV transmission.
National Day of Prayer and Action for Children
Uganda Scouts Association together with other partners are launching a campaign to protect children and to provide them with a healthy and safe learning environment.
